Compliance and Responsibility
KP works according to principles of responsible business conduct, with a focus on people, working conditions, the environment and anti-corruption.
Our approach to responsible business conduct is based on integrity, transparency and long-term accountability. We continuously work to integrate considerations for people, working conditions, the environment and anti-corruption into the way we operate and develop our business.
We see responsibility as part of the entire value chain. Therefore, we also expect our suppliers and business partners to apply principles that support responsible and sustainable business practices.
Privacy
KP Components processes personal data with respect for individual privacy and in accordance with applicable rules.
When you contact us, apply for a position or otherwise provide information to KP Components, we may process the data necessary to respond to your enquiry or handle the relevant purpose.
This privacy notice is reviewed and updated from time to time to reflect changes in our processing activities and legal obligations.

KP Components A/S is the data controller for the processing of personal data described on this page.
Denmark is KP Components’ headquarters, and the website is operated and hosted from Denmark.

When you contact us
You can contact us through the website contact form or ordinary email. The form typically collects name, company, email, enquiry type, department or region, and your message.
KP Components processes the information you send via the contact form or email in order to handle and respond to your enquiry and to follow up where relevant.
Processing is carried out in accordance with applicable Danish law and applicable data protection rules.
Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for the relevant purpose, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
The website form is submitted through KP’s own endpoint. KP uses Microsoft 365 for email and collaboration. Personal data may therefore be processed within Microsoft’s services. Information about relevant safeguards and any international transfers is available upon request.
When you apply for a position
Vacancies and applications for ordinary positions go through Emply (kp-components.career.emply.com). Apprentice applications can be submitted through KP’s own form with name, phone, email, a message and optional attachments.
KP Components processes applicant details, CV, application and any attachments in order to handle the application, assess the candidate and carry out the recruitment process.
Processing is carried out in accordance with applicable Danish law and applicable data protection rules.
Emply A/S is a data processor for KP Components in connection with recruitment. Emply is used as a cloud solution for managing vacancies and applications. Further information on security, privacy and compliance is available in the Paychex Trust Center.
Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for the relevant purpose, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Apprentice applications are described separately on the apprenticeship site.
Customer and supplier relationships
This section concerns the subsequent business relationship. The website does not track customers or suppliers.
In a customer or supplier relationship we may process professional contact details, correspondence, and quote, order and contract-related information to operate and document the cooperation.
We process the information in order to enter into, administer and document the cooperation. Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for the relevant purpose, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Relevant recipients are described under Recipients and transfers.
Whistleblower scheme
KP uses an external whistleblower solution. The relevant information on personal data processing is provided in that solution.
For the whistleblower scheme, KP Components A/S is the data controller. Legalsys ApS acts as the data processor for the company.
Recipients and transfers
Personal data may be shared with relevant service providers used to operate our business, including providers of email, recruitment, whistleblower and IT services. Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, KP will rely on applicable transfer mechanisms and safeguards.
For the whistleblower scheme, Legalsys ApS is KP’s data processor. KP uses Microsoft 365 for email and collaboration. Personal data may therefore be processed within Microsoft’s services. Information about relevant safeguards and any international transfers is available upon request.
Personal data is as a starting point processed in Denmark and within the EU/EEA. Personal data is not shared with KP Components’ US company as part of ordinary operations. As a starting point, personal data is not shared with companies in Sweden or the USA without your explicit consent. If information is exceptionally shared, this is done in accordance with the rules and safeguards that apply to the specific processing and transfer.
Retention
Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for the relevant purpose, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Your rights
You generally have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and — where processing is based on consent or a contract and is carried out by automated means — data portability. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing already carried out.
Rights may be limited depending on the legal basis and legal requirements, for example documentation and bookkeeping duties.

Complaints and contact

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet): https://www.datatilsynet.dk.
Whistleblower Scheme
KP Components has a whistleblower scheme where employees, customers and business partners can report suspected serious irregularities, violations or possible breaches of applicable law or the company’s material policies and guidelines.
The scheme does not replace ordinary contact with KP Components. It is intended for serious matters that are not suitable for normal communication channels, or where the reporter wants the option of anonymity.
Energy and Climate Audits
KP Components publishes action plans from the company’s energy and climate audits.
The action plans include identified energy and climate measures and the company’s assessment of their implementation.
